Thanks everyone for the very nice comments. I'm back in Florida. We sustained very little damage and life is about back to normal. No to catch up on everything!
I think the bald spot on the tail was the result of the pups knowing at it in play. She seemed very tolerant of their antics and I'm guessing she didn't mind.

I like your composition from this angle but I find the image too busy for my taste. My mind's eye wants the camera lower and the frog's eye's more prominent. Bravo on using the phone, the camera we always have with us. |

What a beautiful place to live. Good luck in the new home. This is one where another time may be better. I'd like to see more reflection. I'd probably lighten up the area in the center where the shadows are dark. I'd also either crop out or remove the tips of bushes on the lower right. A vertical composition showing more of the tree tops may also work. |

Looks good to me Carol. I like the action and composition. The shape of the rock adds a lot to me. I might, for comparison purposes, crop in tight and see how that looks. I can't think of any other suggestions. Well done |

I like this shot a lot. One of my favorite subjects. It's amazing how much abuse they hand out to each other. My only suggestion would be to look at the fringe of grass against the sky. See if your darkening of the sky caused the fringe area to change. If so, possibly use a gradient mask to spread the affect out into the sky, or slightly darken the grass graduating it down the hill. A luminosity mask might work as well. I also would like to compare either a 1/1 ratio, or maybe a 4/5. The space on the left seems too much to my eye. Centered might look better. These are all minor subjective comments to a wonderful shot as presented. |
