Thanks guys. Good idea on the post. Sharon, I'm sure I cropped it but I'll have to see by how much when I get home in July.
Thanks, Mike |

Very nice perspective and I love the flower - background combination. I think the whites on the flower could be enhanced a little with either sharpening or using shadows/highlights in PS. I might also crop out the green leaf on the right. |

Wonderful job Tom. I love the crop. As you know by now, I am not a purist so I would tinker, just a little. I see that the small hole created by the neck shows the dark section of the background. I might replace it with the white section to make the neck stand out better. On the beak I would clone out some of the brown marks and make it look a bit cleaner. As it, however, it's terrific. |

Justice shmustice, this is a wonderful image. The bird is fantastic. Great body position and emotion. You can see the interest of the bird and everything looks tack sharp on the bird with a nice soft background. Well done. |

There's something very organic about this picture. My take on it would be to consider the tunnel the main subject. Given that subjective take, I would darken and reduce the sharpness and contrast of everything else, maybe brighten the inside of the tunnel and try to make that the focal point of the viewer. When I first looked at it, it took a second to see what it was. |

Nice job getting a sharp hummingbird at 1/1000. I've hundreds at 1/4000 and only occasionally succeeded. I also like your post processing, the bird looks great. No suggestions to offer. |

If I were a judge you'd stand a great chance. It's a very endearing picture and I love the story and the action of each bird. I would add a bit of sharpness to the feathers, or at least try it and see how it looks. |
