Thanks, Maria!
I warped the grasses here to suggest the wind. I also made the colors on the left more rhythmic; I'm not sure whether that helps or not. I need to think on that. |

Thanks, Brad!
I gave that a try, attached above. I do think it works better. Thanks so much for your great suggestion. |

Thanks, Kirsti!
I like your excellent suggestion - that part of the image bothered me. I think it integrates the tree part into the rest of the image. |

This is a beautifully executed image, Alan! I love flow of the cards as music, encasing the musicians as they concentrate on their playing. I think the color being present only for the music and the instruments works really well. The clouds in the background and the circular stage add to the surrealism of the image for me. I really like how all of the musical streams are weaving their ways to a common point.
I like the color in the instruments and music so much that I have an alternative suggestion to desaturating the instruments a bit, which is to use the sliders in a b&w layer in luminosity mode to change the luminosity of the colors rather than desaturate. Just a thought. |

This image really made me smile, Brad. There are so many satisfying elements in it - the happy deer, the fire in the curve of the bank, the stream, the green curve of the plants bringing my eye straight to the stand of trees (talk about leading lines!), and the golden light in the distance. It's a joyful place of peace.
My only suggestion is that the image feels a bit too blue to me. For my eye, I'd consider a levels correction or white balance shift to warm it up a bit. |

The little angels are so charming, Maria! I love how they are scattered on the road, like a group of little children napping after a walk in the woods. I think it's really fun that they are equally comfortable resting on the clouds as well as on the road strips to heaven. Their distribution in the foreground really grounds this image for me, and the strong leading lines going up the center tell the story.
I think your guardians are well executed, I see their forms in the clouds as well as the protective mass of the clouds themselves. The hollow, blank eyes do bother me. One possible alternative might be to use a face from one of the angels instead. |

This is so cool, Kirsti! I love the tiny people working away inside the egg. The spots on the shell remind me of stars, which adds to the sci-fic feeling. The crack in the egg adds to the drama, as does the color of the egg.
This image suggests so many possibilities, it makes me want to jump up and start cracking eggs.
I was curious about what it would look like if the people were highlighted more, so I put that layer over your final image in Overlay mode, masking in spotlights on the people. Then I though maybe there could be more interaction between the people and the crack, so I duplicated the ship layer, reversed it, warped it a bit, and put it in Overlay mode. The result feels too busy to me, but does highlight the crack a bit more, so I thought I'd share it anyway.
