Thanks, Maria!
I'm going to move the bird, and thanks so much for noticing the spot and the texture in the upper right corner. I didn't notice those, and they are so easy to fix. Thanks! |

I love this, Maria! I want to know these characters, to know their story. All of the elements of this image are so cohesive, not only in color, but in texture and in have segments themselves as well as being in an environment with segments (the stones and the shadows and light areas). The girl has such a whimsical attitude, and the rhinoceros looks inquisitive- their interaction really engages me.
I have just a couple of very minor suggestions as shown in the attached- the stone wall next to the rhino and the stone to the right of the girl's tail are a bit bright to my eye, so personally I would darken them. |

This is a really powerful image, Brad. The spare use of color adds to the feeling of grief, and the texture and color around the eye echo the hillside on the right. The hand makes the partial disintegration of the cow head feel very intentional. I think the duck works really well; I've got a few ideas about what I think it might mean, but those details seem irrelevant. This image is really one to absorb and think about.
Personally, I'd consider reducing texture (-30% here) and just a bit of a crop, but that would just be my approach .

Very cool image, Kirsti! I can practically hear the humming of those beams. I love the mist, and I think the shrubbery works well to ground the units on the left. I like how close to the edge those units are; it gives me a feeling that they moved there to help with the landing. I think you have just the right amount of detail in the buildings.
Personally, I would consider either strengthening the beam from the structure in the top right of the image, or moving that structure a bit closer to the center of the image. |

I can really feel the Miami vibes here! I love the color - it makes the wavy lines feel like water for me. The wavy lines also feel like the image is shimmering in the heat. The palm trees really pop, with their color standing out from the high rise buildings.
I think the white grid works well; it feels to me as if we need the reinforcement to contain all the energy and excitement on the other side.
The reduced opacity of the white grid towards the bottom is clearly intentional, but for me it's a little distracting. Personally, I'd consider keeping the grid opaque. But that's a personal preference. |

This is an intriguing image, Alan. I feel that there is a stillness about it, even though there is a receding line of spheres. I think it's because there is so much distance between the woman and the spheres, and her body language is that of someone looking in a fixed manner. The stillness feeling works for me because it's in tune with the vast empty space.
I like how the color of the sky complements the landscape and the woman's outfit.
Perhaps it's my sense of humor, but it might be interesting to have some additional spheres curving around at the vanishing point and coming back at the woman. |

Thanks, Matt!
I did notice that the main pelican's wing was partly obscured, but I decided to keep it because I felt it made it more integrated with the rest of the image. I do appreciate your pointing it out, because that's the sort of thing I often overlook. |

Thanks, Alan!
I had not realized it when I had the color versions, but you're right, the b&w works to make all the motion work together. Keen observation! |
