Such a beautiful image, Brad!
I love the feeling of closeness and warmth. The colors are perfect. The flower petals remind me of campfire flames. The sharpness adds a great contrast to the softness of the rest of the image but doesn't feel threatening to me; it feels protective instead in that enveloping shape.
How did you add the red outline on your children? I think it works very well. I wouldn't have thought of doing that, but I'm going to try to add that to my bag of tricks.
I like Alan's crop, but also I really like the branches and the bokeh. I offer two alternatives. |

I love the feel of this. The way the woman's legs dangle down looks so incredibly effortless. The composition is beautifully balanced. Your placement of the chessboard really gives me the feeling that it is floating.
I really like the way her shadow echoes her profile shape rather than being just an oval. It makes a much more interesting play along the black and white squares this way.
The background feels very dark compared to the foreground. Given how strong the light is on the woman, even blowing out the detail a bit on her arms, it might be interesting to use a version of the sky closer to the original. That's a really fabulous sky. |

Fabulous image, Kathy!
I think it's serenely beautiful. The composition is perfectly balanced and the colors are wonderful. I really like how the top green butterfly shape merges in the line towards the bottom of the face. It adds a bit of disorientation for me while also giving me a feeling of total integration. Not sure if I've expressed that well, but the dichotomy translates into fascination for me.
I think you have created something incredible from a totally unexpected set of originals.
Personally, I would consider bringing down the brightness of the arms and hands down a little bit. They draw my eyes away from those beautiful green eyes, which I do want to keep looking at. |

Very whimsical, Aavo!
The angle of the bear's head and the calm attitude of the woman work together in a way that makes me smile. I also like the way the soft background at the top of the image echoes the colors in the bear's rough textured coat.
The bear seems to have gotten a little distorted from the original. Perhaps you used the "free transform" function to resize it? If you want to keep the proportions the same, dragging a corner handle scales the layer proportionally by default https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/free-transformations-images-shapes-paths.html |
