Such a fun and colorful image! There are so many things going on, and they all play together very well. It feels like a vibrant glimpse into a wonderful huge aquarium or perhaps the sea floor.
I like the way you show us only part of some fish and plants at the edges, suggesting that we're seeing just a part of a much greater whole.
I really like how you've given us the feeling of a lot of depth, with the softness of the clown fish and then even more softness of the jellyfish.
I don't have anything else to add to the suggestions of the rest of the group.
Happy holidays to you too! |

Well done, Brad! I love the spinning flower. It's so interesting how you bring a fresh take on flowers to each new image in your series .
Fabulous colors in your flower original! I like the addition of the orange and red in the corner from a color standpoint but I do feel the egret is more impactful against the darker background.
It would be interesting to see what would develop following Alan's suggestions, if they appeal to you.
If you wanted to have the second flower appear to be more in focus, you could duplicate and rotate the flower layer, reduce opacity and layer size, and mask in the big flower to give more definition to the middle flower. |

A wonderful image, Alan! I especially like your darker version.
The woman and the house and landscape all feel very much to belong together. I feel the desaturated colors work very well.
I especially like the very slight unbalance that the gorgeous moon adds to the image, giving it your signature surreal touch.
I think it is a great image.
It is intriguing , though, to consider having something different in her hand as Brad suggested. |

Such a lovely picture! I love the colors and the softness of the trees against the great detail in the feast. The squirrel has an intent focus on the viewer that brings him to life. And such a magnificent tail!
Great composition. My eye travels all around that lovely soft empty space in the middle, and so is led all around the image.
Thank you for the detailed description you gave above. You did such a wonderful job of creating an atmospheric vintage image that it makes me want to do one as well. It's very helpful to know how you achieved it so I can try something similar.
Personally, I think the color and the texture works fine on the squirrel to my eye. I do feel it matches the surrounding background a bit too well because it's all low contrast midtones. I might consider trying a bit more contrast on the squirrel. |

That's hilarious, Alan! I love it!
You're right, I really don't need so many bubble if I'm not going to fill them.
I admit I didn't linger under the whale model either. |

Thanks, Aavo! I had not thought of something else in the water going after the bubbles. That's a very fun idea to explore. |
