I love the jolly cook! And that clock is really incredible - Peter must be a wizard with mechanical things.
You did a great job with the grass. I can see that that must have been tricky.
Changing the tent color to blend with the clock's background was very clever. I didn't realize you had not cut it out until I read your explanation.
I don't feel the story here as strongly as I do with most of your images. A variation on the idea could be having the kids were looking at a tv or computer on the swing in place of the clock (and ignoring the wonderful cook). |

Such a beautiful image!
It has that wonderful eerie feeling of night time. The softness of the buildings feels as if it was raining a little while ago. I really like how you have parts of the buildings duplicated and at lower opacity so that they feel like reflections. The texture works very well.
The left side of the image feels a little too dark and solid for me. I might try stretching out that part of the picture. |

Wonderful image, Brad!
I love how you added the columns to the tunnel of trees. You've got just the right amount of the branches over the caps of the columns.
Beautiful integration of the trees with the wall, especially how it transitions seamlessly into the tree tunnel.
The crack in the wall is inspired. I really love how you captured your daughter just starting to climb in fearlessly. The hint of the blue garment inside adds another touch of mystery. |

Such an interesting image, Alan!
The actor is marvelous - great expression and costume, and those fabulous ropes giving all those leading lines. He's so great that I just feel he ought to be the main attraction in this image.
The next part of the image I really care about is the mime. I love it that he's upside down with that umbrella. The thing is that he's so bright and almost half the size of the actor, so he keeps drawing my eye away from the actor. For me, that reduces the impact of the image overall.
The other two objects are fun but not as engaging for me. I might try a "less is more" approach by eliminating the streetcar and shrinking the mime.

I really love the colors in this image. The red spiral staircase looks exactly right with the macaw.
Great expression on the cat's face! I like how you tilted her head.
Very fun, Aavo! |
