Lovely catch, Ally. With one picture you got three weather scenes. The already downpouring rain in the background, the rain heavy clouds (in a fine contrast texture) and above all from the left side the promising sun with the good weather part. Great shot.

Interesting this discussion about the bird. You are right, is a little distraction. I only added it, because there is never a beach without seagulls. |

Nice into the depth leading lines, Walter. Well captured morning mood. And I do love these flowers, the whole tree would be even better. So I would cut the picture above so the viewer's eye would concentrate on the tree shadow. What do you think? |

Fog is never cooperating ;-) and mostly hard to catch on a picture. But I love this rough running water - you did well with it's texture.
I played a bit and tried to get a more foggy version - it is not satisfying but maybe a start.
I used the Silver Efex Pro 2 from the Nik Collection. |

The orange snow shovel is really the perfect eye catcher. it would be even more, if you would cut some of the picture's bottom. And it would give the shadowed part a nice start from the left bottom edge. |

This is like some minimalisim art - I like it how it is. A plus would be an whole chair on the right. But otherwise you did will with this snow scene. |

This abstract picture lives from the great colors and I like it. But seeing your colored original... I like that even more. I looks too me, like the coloreful leafes are falling into my face (wonderful). |

First: I like the original photo very much - such a fine catch of the Hibiskus.
For the processed picture I would use a vault filter to make the center more prominent. |

I looked very long and hard at this picture to figure out what fish is there coming out of the anemone ;-) ... and then I read the text.
Your tricked me really good - love your humor here. |

Ian, I love this picture. It looks very playful with it's fine glowing and flowing golden lines. Like some futuristic autumn flower.
Your way to get to this picture is what I like to do very often: Just playing/exeperimenting around with the digital tools given to us. They takes you to very much surprising outcomes. So I like the mono version and it's negative too. |

Yes Andrew, that's it. Your last version with only 3 figures works best. |

That's a fine picture for the wall. You scetched up the original photo well. I wouldn't change a thing. |

Okayyyy - I'll surrender and give away the distracting background. Thanks to Tom's picture - like your way of remodeling it. |

That's some fantastic rock formation and the textures are screaming to play with the contrasts. Playing with it is something for your personal taste. I like your original like it is best (although I am really struggling to GET the right angle of view here - but that is only on my eyes... or maybe my brain ; -)). |

The drone is a good choice to get this bigger view above all. But all in all handling a drone has so much more restrictions in public I don't see the fun in using it. |

It may be my monitor, but your picture works well in it's original colors for me. It shows the bright sun situation at the beach. The eating action is a big plus! |

Hi Sunandan, I agree with the others, this is a fine photo with all the patterns and textures. I struggled also with the cropping from Art, but it would be for me to give the background figure a head or cutting it complete. |

Such a sweet and shy little girl - a very nice picture.
You should follow Jamie's suggestion - with this more space, the pictures looks less "cramped" in my opinion. |

I can agree with your opinion about the rule of third. But the person's face here was not the important thing to me...only the whole way of action here. |
