@Carole: It was a hollow chocolate. And you are right about the reason why I used the 200 mm. And I have to tell it isn't easy for me to get up from the ground either ;-).
Thank you for your all complimenting comments. I like to photograph food all the more since I have my wonderful new kitchen machine. I try out many new recipes and love to take pictures from this food.
With all our nice sweets pictures I wonder, if we shouldn't open an group for "food pictures" ;-). |

Spontaneous are the best street pictures like this one. They all are indulging so angrossed in their refreshment oblivious to time and surroundings. Well done shot. |

I agree with Connie, that this image would be a good cover vor a menu! The cut is well set and it looks classy with the well chosen background. |

As the others already told you: Well done with the light and sharpness. Those little bites are the most dangerous one - you think they are tiny, but the calories are still big! ;- ) |

I nearly tried to stick my finger into this delicious looking bun ;-) (it is 7.00 a.m. here and I am waiting for breakfast!). And it is interesting to see the way how they go from the making until after baking. |

Thank your for this interesting lesson in blood glucose. 52 years is a long time to handle your diabetic and as it shows you are a pro now.
And it gives you (and therefor us) a complete other view at our montly theme. |

I like the creativity here and can see, how the reader is entranced "rushing away" on the wings of the book's realm.
For me personally it would be a more lighter mood - so I would lighten up the blurr a bit. And I definitly would erase all the grainy dots on the face. How do you like my version?

The idea is great and on this little picture it looks good. But I guess, if it would be bigger, the smokes needs more diffusing like Mark is suggesting. |

A wonderful creative idea and with the rework on the letters even better. Tom is right with his postcard or poster comment! |

The color buzz works well on most of the picture, but not so much on the iron gate behind the little house with this pink/green touch between the grates. |

Althoug I already like the original photo - you made a nice little piece of art out of it with even more great colors. |

Thank you all! That is why I love to PLAY with PS how I call it. There can come out such surprising colors and structures - I can only recommend to try that by yourself ;-). |

Marge, I love the bird action here and how nice you can see the red beak. Gabriel did the same thing as I would do with the AutoTone and AutoContrast on PS. |

Gabriele, I like the action you caught with the second bird very much. And I would follow here the advices of Art and Marge. The background needs to be toned down to get the birds more accentuated.
And I would like to the see legs of the left bird not cutted. |
