Great way to process this picture. I love the pattern on the boots and the whole color setting. |

You got the theme perfect, Walter! With Caroles cropping the focus is more on the people; it would be too my only suggestion of improvement here. |

These "theme festivals" are always a nice place for photography. And you catched a nice arrangement. As Barbara I like the textures on the pots. And with Caroles darkening the background it looks perfect.

Ah, yes - our first digital cameras. I can remember that well - mine was a Kodak with 1 MB! ;-)
You did a good job with this color eye catcher in yellow. And the theme is clear here :-). |

A great idea and nice way to keep the viewers eye busy. With every blink you discover another added animal.
But I have to admit, that my eye struggled a bit to get, that the bug and the leaf are ABOVE the scene. Maybe it should be more OUTstanding (the blurred leaf making sharper etc.). I tried it on my version, but I am sure there are other/better ideas around?! |

Great idea of processing these pictures and the colors. But I am with Mike about the ring. |

Wonderful plain and fitting colored. I only would suggest to focus more on the birds by cropping a bit. |

Trying out new techniques is great and you've got an interesting picture with it. Although I am with Andrew about the strange hair - it looks like a winter cap to me ;-).
But the face itself and the pattern on it is very good in light and sharpness. |

Congratulations to your first Salon acceptance with this. You did realy good with the photo - escpacially the way of cropping it. And I am not really sure, if there is a lean to the right. It nearly seems to me, that somehow the water reflection on the left side is causing this effect ...? |

Ah yes, mid-day sun is a bitch on things like this! Too much blinking metal. But even on you original you did a good job with your photo and you gave it a nice process. But Tom did the perfect touch for you with toning down the sky. |

Thank you for you comments and your work on my photo.
My focus here was on the sunglasses and the water; may face was only an addition I didn't wanted to exposse much. |

You did good, Phyllis, to focus on watching people. Your reward is this nice catch of this guy. I like the playfulness he shows and also your way with this colors and the texture.
Anyway, I could not withstand the lure to play with your photo too ;-). |

A very good shot, Marge - and the looking visitor was the perfect supplement. Very well done! And Art gave the photo the perfect color enhancement. With this piece of Art the director, Angela Haseltine Pozzi, was way ahead of them all, because right now this problem makes headlines around the world.
I am adding my version of your picture with the intention to accentuate the interaction human/fish

@Marge: ;-)))) even my photography buddies are shaking their heads about my toy bag sometimes - hey, but they never complain to take my arrangements over, when we are together on a shooting trip!
@Art: I chose deliberately not to crop the picture more thigh. In my version the frame looks more casual in the surrounding. But thank for giving me another view.
@Gabriele: Yes, your way gets the eye more focused on the frame. But on my pictures, the coloring is smother - especially on the snail shell. |

Awesome shot, Art! The cloud structures and the golden light are great. If there is anything to change, maybe to lighten up the sea part with the ships - a tiny bit (sorry Gabriele, but you've got the sky blown out partially).

Yeah, I am with the others here: Keep going on with your wildlife images - I am not bored with your photos!
This is a perfect action shot again. But I am with Art here about some more space on the top of the bird. |

I get never tired to see pictures from this Canyon. I love the colors here. And the bright spot for me isn't distracting, but leading the viewers eye into the middle/depth. |
