12 Jul 18 Comment I like this one and the long-time-frozen running water and all in this blue color mode. Maybe it is my monitor, but I would like to see a bit more light. And with a little framing you have a classy picture for the wall! Jul 22nd
12 Jul 18 Comment Such a nice, old backyard with this nice ground rocks. I even would emphasize a more vintage look - like the added one. I used the Redfield Fractalius filter for it. Jul 22nd
12 Jul 18 Comment You gathered here a lot rocks for the theme. But with all the background distraction, there is no clean way to look at the gravel. So I chose to play with your photo - I hope you don't mind.
I chose a main subject, doubled and mirrored it and cut a bit of the lower part so there is a clean lead for the eye over the gravel to at least center on the flowers. What do you think?

12 Jul 18 Comment This picture is great in it's colors - I wouldn't change it into b/w. But I needed some time to figure out what was bothering me. I know it is a narrow canyon... but the size of the picture ... it feels like a bit suffocating my eyes (hell, lack of vocabulary here - sorry). After playing around with the picture I settled with a plain - bigger frame.
Now, it looks, like the picture can breath and even your nice fitting slim frame is better to recognize (well at least in my view ;-)).		 Jul 22nd
12 Jul 18 Comment I totally agree with Carole here - the foreground rocks looks good, but only with cropping out the top third of the photo, the viewers eye won't get distracted. Jul 22nd

38 Jul 18 Comment With our unusual heatwave here in North-Germany, I just don't want to lift my eyes from this shot! I like all the blue (cooling) shades. And I agree with Art to put a bit more contrasts into it. A realy cool picture. Jul 28th
