Hello Dolores,
a really good setting of things (I love the little bunny there ;- ). But Carole already did, what my first thought was: Cutting the roof – it was distracting.

Hello Barbara,
this is a nearly romantic looking scene – very well done. A fine contrast with new leafes and an old background. Especially the vignette is looking good.

Hello Walter,
that’s a fine sample from long ago ;-) – good idea. And Carole and Barbara did work it over good by playing with the contrasts and colors.

Hi Conni,
this matches well with the theme. But I do like the cropping from Carole and Barbara; the eye is better centered on the sharper parts.

Hi Gavin,
I like this pictures, because the viewers eye keeps working through all the lines here. I only would lighten the upper part a bit.

Hi Carole,
I’ve the same problem like Barbara with the red background pedal and I guess, she choose a better crop of the picture.
But I like the detailed sharpness of the stamen and showing up like this the blossom is really past it’s time ;-).

A beautiful scene, Marge! I agree, there could be some more contrast and color dynamic (see my added try). But I do wonder more, if you could have chose a more deeper point of view.Couldn't you go there again and give it a try ;-)? |

I've never seen grasshoppers like this - thank you for showing! :-)But I am glad, they are not in MY garden by looking at the poor blank plant!
You choose the vertical line well, Art.
With concentrating on the four top critters Craig has the right idea here.

Great wildlife action, you've captured. But Art is right to suggest a bottom cropping here. But I won't choose a b/w. You just need these "african colors" here :-). |

Yes, I agree with Craigs suggestion here. The eye is getting too much information in the original picture. By cropping the photo you can better center on one blossom. |
