I’ve the same problem like Barbara with the red background pedal and I guess, she choose a better crop of the picture.
But I like the detailed sharpness of the stamen and showing up like this the blossom is really past it’s time ;-).

With concentrating on the four top critters Craig has the right idea here.

38 Apr 17 Comment Yes, I agree with Craigs suggestion here. The eye is getting too much information in the original picture. By cropping the photo you can better center on one blossom. Apr 30th
