Great idea, Walter. You should title this "Only in Sun City".
I am sure the assignment made your walk more interesting. I suggest cropping off the part to the left of the golf cart as it would put the focus more on the dog. |

Nice job, Connie. I love the film strip. Can't decide which image I like best. The first one has the best exposure on the sparks but the light window in the top left distracts. Picture 2 has even lighting through out but the sparks are too bright. Maybe next time focus on the grinder and see if the sparks can be better exposed. Image 3 seems too busy for me. Next time you do this try a distance between image 1 and 2. I like showing the hand because it tells the story and ties all the other elements in the photo together. Good job. |

I love the lighting in your image. There is good contrast here and the rim lighting highlights the squirrel. I might crop a small amount of the top to give the squirrel more prominence. I tried brightening the image and decided it is more interesting the way you shot it. |

Carole, patterns are always interesting to photograph. I was told once that a good graphic design can be rotated 90 degrees each way and will look good in every shot. Your design is made up of triangles and rectangles. The textured areas add depth to the image. Monochrome is a perfect choice because all the tones from black to white blend well. |
