You are so lucky to have this beautiful animal living under your deck. He has a beautiful winter coat and you captured him well. I like Gavin's crop too. We had a skunk on our porch last summer in Montana. You can be sure I took his picture from the window too! Keep that camera handy! |

I think it is a sponge and I don't know why it was there. I liked the way it looked in the shadow part but it does detract on the chair. |

This is one image where putting the main element dead-centered really works. There are lots of tones of white in the snow and good texture. Your processing resulted in a very pleasing image. It doesn't bother me that is it not brighter because that is probably the way it really looked. |

There is good texture in the snow. The umbrella gives the image balance. Actually I like your original image too. The muted red and green adds interest. Winter days are "gray" days and the exposure is perfect.
I did an Edit>Rotate to make the umbrella pole straight and then cropped on the right side because my eye was moving out of the frame to the part of the image that held the least interesting details. Also used the dodge tool at 10% to lighten little bits of snow on the table top.

You have created a very graphic image. Everything works here. Perfectly exposed with lots of texture and no hot spots. Good job. |
