This is a lovely image. The bright yellow leaf blur is very pleasing to look at. The gray trunks and bluish gray sky balance the composition. I am glad you filled the frame with the tree. The vignette is subtle and adds impack. |

The bright jackets on both girl stand out from the background. This is a fun image - showing energy and motion. You did a good job balancing the light and saturation. |

Walter, this is an unusual shot. I like it. If the foreground was sharp I think the rest of the image would sort of "fade away" and not be as interesting as it is. The foreground is just sharp enough not to be distracting and the rocks are in a good position in the frame. This has a very monochromatic look. |

Connie, this is a fun shot and fun to do. I like the windshield effect - thats a new one for me. Good color and exposure. |

Gavin, your image does show blur - created by the moving blowing snowflakes. I would flip this image so that the sharp bird feeder is on the right side and would hold my eye. It is hard to show motion. If I want to show motion usually I use a large f-stop so that the shutter speed will be slower and give me more time for the "blur".
I had a friend who stood on the corner of a busy street and practiced panning the moving cars. She said it was just like a golf swing. You have to follow through as the cars go by. |

Great idea, Carole. The position of your leg and feet are nicely off center. The vertical lines fill up the rest of the frame. Monochrome is a perfect choice for this image. |
