Connie, I like everything about this image. Nice composition, balance of colors and strong center of interest. If you added a small amount of light to the chef's face and maybe to the bowl the eye would stay in the middle of the face. The red patch helps. Great story telling image! |

I love everything about this image! Exposure is perfect and the darling pink pig adds whimsy and interest. The placement of the food elements are tied together with the ragout. A great story telling image. I'm sure it tasted yummy too. |

Walter, this is absolutely beautiful! The radial blur looks like it is part of the flower. Sometimes I use the Sharpen tool to add sharpness to parts of an image - ie the "face". |

There are many tutorials on using the radial blur. Go to Filter>blur>radial blur. The last step is to make a layer mask and paint back in what you want sharp. |

Pie is one of my favorite things! The crust looks good enough to eat. Your exposure is perfect. I might have lightened the flat surface of the pie server just a little bit and increased contrast there to accent the sticky food bits. |

Cookies are an ideal subject for this month. Your f-stop put the main focus on the sharp cookie in front. I agree with Ally about the brightness on the right side. A vignette would help. This also is an image that could be flipped easily and would work both ways. |

This is a lovely image. You can almost smell the rose! The green patch doesn't bother me as much as the dark patch on the left side. By flipping the image horizontally my eye stays on the brightest side of the flower and soft pink in the corner. I did an 8 pixel small gaussian blur on the edges of the green to make it blend into the neighboring colors. |
