Everyone loves the big cats! This is a great shot. I like the
mono version best, too. I think the bright green pulls my eye from the cat. You could present it without the reflection, too. |

Kerstin, this is beautiful! I am a big horse lover too. This image which started out as a snapshot has turned in to fine art. Background is perfect and fractalius did a perfect job. |

Gavin, the proper name is Roseate Spoonbill. They feed by moving their bill back & forth in the water, sucking in food. |

Walter, glad you are back with us and feeling better. I love the color of the chairs and the table. You have great color and good exposure. They made a good topic. |

This is a very interesting image. Mushrooms are one of my favorite nature things. This image has lots of potential and different ways to crop. I made it vertical to put the pair in the left corner. Background & tree trunk were darkened and I selected the brown leaf & desaturated it. I use the quick selection tool to select each of the mushrooms caps. THen I did a levels adjustment to darken them. |

The pair of berries is a good subject. I like Kerstin' version which is basically a black and white with one color (red) accent. It really makes the berries stand out.

Duplicating the shell makes for a very graphic image. The basket-weave adds contrast and interest. There is a nice variation of the white and cream color. I wouldn't change a thing. Good job! |
