Yes, Connie, for nature that would be illegal. However, you can do anything you want to for PID-C (color) or PID-M (monochrome) |

I have a new Canon 5D Mark IV. Awesome focus. These birds in a rookery fly similar patterns so you have an opportunity to focus at a predictable distance. |

If we didn't get emotionally connected we wouldn't get good images. I have a cancer survivor husband too. Each day is a blessing. |

If you had stayed there the shot would not have been the same. You captured the "moment" |

This is a very pretty picture. The horizontal lines are interesting. I suggest cropping some of the sky out to keep the focus on the bird & bright waves beneath it. Exposure is perfect and the color is pleasing. |

You did a good job with the composite. I can't tell which bird you added. I would clone out the background bird who is doing nothing interesting and then "move" the little piece of bread in the air closer to the beak. Photoshop fun! |

This photo was taken at Stick Marsh, very close to Vero Beach where you live. It is a Roseate rookery. |

This is a great PJ shot. Tells an interesting story. The iPhones make photography easy. |

Love the picture! Cropping is great - you don't need the whole person on the left. The hand tells the story. I would also crop on the right up to & including a bit of the black shirt. That eliminates the bright area on the right that draws the eye away from the bird. |

Interesting subject - fits our topic. I agree with Kerstin & Ally about wanting more of the wing. I would suggest cropping out some of the sky at the top since it is brighter than the plane. |

This is a great action shot! I like the wing motion & the splashing water. I suggest cropping at the bottom just to the reflection of the log. Also agree with Ally on removing the partial bird head & the head on the left side. |
