David, here is what I suggest. Image>Adjustments>Replace Color. Use eyedropper tool on background. Then move the Lightness slider to the right. Back in PS the eraser tool was used on the globe, shadow and base. |

Great job on the snow globe. I would prefer a tighter crop on the sides and maybe a slightly lighter background. Good job. |

I like the story telling element here. Your winter shot is exposed perfectly. I might have straightened the horizon abit. Color and exposure on the 2nd image is good. You can always use a vignette (on 2nd image) to soften the borders. |

David, I agree. Rainy, cold day. Usually I would have two cameras - wide angle & telephone. This was shot with a 80-400 mm lens which compresses the distance between parts of the image. A wide angle would have separated them. |

Very nicely exposed image. I like the curved sidewalk. I suggest a crop just below the shadow on the grass & also cropping out the post on the right. |

This is my favorite for the month. The only thing I might change is a small crop on the bottom. Exposure and sharpness is perfect.

Very nice shot of a great moon. Since we show our images on a black background a small stroke matching one of the grays in the moon would ground the image. Sometimes a fringe of color results from too much sharpening. |

Lovely. It doesn't bother me that there are highlights in the snow cap because the beautiful color of the bud holds my eye. However, using Adjustments>Shadows & Highlights could add more detail in the top of the bud. I might prefer a tighter crop. The background is soft enough not to be distracting & it definitely is a winter shot. |
