Connie, I like your version. We should all try different filters. I have Topaz. The changes to the leaves are ok with me as they are mostly on the perimeter of the image. |

Lovely peaceful setting. Carole's choice of crop is appealing. I can't improve on your image. What did we ever do without cell phones! |

Very interesting room. There are lots of pictures within this image. The image is sharp & the color well balanced. Left side was cropped out& the left blue panel was darkened. |

Love your topic. We forget how things have changed. The burn tool was used to darken the number keys & add more contrast. All edges were burned in also & a border added with a black line to repeat the color black that is on the book. Parts of the phone cord were lightened with the dodge tool, too. |

Carole's crop fits the image. Sometimes there can be too much repetition. The cropped image was rotated & flattened. I thought it needed something to make the flowers stand out better so a light grey vignette from Nik Color Exex Pro was used at a low opacity. |

This is an interesting subject. I agree with Carole's wish for a blurred background. Since I couldn't do that I started with Adjustments>Shadows & Highlights to bring more "life" to the largest wooden piece. To cover the bright white patches a color similar to the dirt was selected & painted in at 45% opacity. Cropping put more emphasis on the subject. |

I like the sharp interesting stamen but my eye keeps jumping to the bright red petal. Image was flipped & cropped. This makes the center more prominent. I'm not doing "wet belly" photography any more. Its much easier to put a pretty plant on your patio table & work it there. |
