I use Nik Color Efex Pro 4. It has different adjustment slides for opacity, size, shape etc. Quite often I use white or grey instead of black, and once in awhile a lighter colored tone. |

He was in the road with safari vehicles going around him. Never moved. Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. |

You can't go wrong with a dog! I agree with comments to make this a horizontal shot. There is so much color and pattern that it detracts from Duke. I might use adjustments>highlights & shadows on a selection of his face only to light it abit. |

His eyes are definitely closed! Interesting color combination but it works here. Good detail and exposure. |

Connie, I did not even see them until you mentioned them. If they had been darker, definitely remove them. |

Very nice shot. Well exposed and sharp. I like the fact that you filled the frame with him. I like the clean background Carole added. |

I like the pretty girl and graceful pose. First thing I tried was to desaturate the lavender color - that worked but it was still too bright. So I cropped and added a vignette in Nik Color Efex Pro 4. After I did this I noted that the legs in the original image kept pulling my eye away from the face. |

Great idea. The blue screen and the yellow notes give the image impact. I would have cloned out the silver line on the left side. Composition is good. |
