13 Feb 17 Comment I think you captured a lot of detail with very little light but I would make a suggestion. I cropped a little bit of sky then wentPSCS 5 to SELECT>ALL and added a 2 pixel white STROKE to the image. It prevents the image from giving a feeling of floating on the black background . This will really emphasize the image on the web. Feb 8th
13 Feb 17 Comment I like the effect of a silhouette of the cranes against the dusky sky. You have captured the strength of the cranes.

13 Feb 17 Comment This photo really needs to be a black and white image. The mono look really brings out the characters! Great capture of the 'goth look'. Feb 8th
13 Feb 17 Comment I find night photography so difficult but you seem to do a great job of capturing detail with little light. I wish I knew the settings used and ISO. Feb 8th
13 Feb 17 Comment Interesting that we chose the same subject! Yours is a great rendition......great job. Feb 7th

14 Feb 17 Reply Ok an explanation. When I copied the sun and trees and flipped them horizontally, I used the liquefy tool to add some movement to the trees and sun and THAT is the 'nibble' you referred to! Good eye! Feb 22nd

14 Feb 17 Reply Yes, but I would loose the pink in the sky!

14 Feb 17 Comment The image is a great example of presenting textures in a black and white photo but I agree with Stuart that decreasing the shadows just a bit may make this a stronger image.

14 Feb 17 Comment This image certainly focuses on the incoming storm. The snow covered mountain is a bit overexposed, perhaps that could be burned in a bit and I think it would be better served if some of the water was cropped out as Larry mentioned.

14 Feb 17 Comment Interesting view of this building, giving the feeling of height. The sky is a bit bland....perhaps increase the color .
I selected the white sky, went to selective color, increased cyan under white, then went to color balance and increased the blue.

14 Feb 17 Comment I love the juxtaposition of old and new in this image but I think it would have been a bit stronger image if you had moved the camera the slightest bit to the right....the tower of the church would have been off the vertical line of the modern building and may have stood out more. 14 Feb 17 Comment This brings to mind a storybook tale. The mist lends some mystery to the image.
Sorry about the camera breakdown...these little computers sometimes throw monkey wrenches into our travel plans.

14 Feb 17 Comment This image tells a wonderful story. Travel photojournalism is a favorite of mine.....even the movement of his hands lends action to the image. Well done Feb 8th
