I think I know what you were going for but as presented here, I can't find a point of interest......my eye is going all over. I wish there was one thing to focus on. The lines of the trees are interesting but perhaps a closer look at one branch. |

Interesting movement created with manually zooming out. Very creative. |

The 'eye' on this tree trunk is very compelling. I like the composition of this. Very sharp. |

Interesting patterns......almost can see a face in this image. Adds a little mystery to it. |

This is a lovely winter scene. If you had just moved a little bit to the right, you could have captured the entire tree............the way presented, the tree is cut off on the right side. |

This is a lovely shot of tourists admiring the falls. I do like what Arun has done with this, though I liked the original as well. Shows the magnitude of the falls with the people looking out over the fence. |

Charissa,
This is a wonderful nature capture but I would love to see more pumpkin and flower. The surrounding area is a little distracting. I cropped out the ground cover and was left with the 'main event' which I thinks makes it a stronger image. |

I kept going back to this image and then realized that it screamed to me: 'black and white'. I brought into adjustments>bl&wh and it opened up so much shadow and brought out more detail. It was then sharpened in PS cs5. I like this version of a great landscape image. |

Thanks Fran.....I too feel that some of the interest in this image is actually seeing the sand particles. To each his own. |

You have brought out the details in a normally shadowed area of an image. Nice touch with the mother and child about to enter the town. Good leading lines of walkway into the town. |

The leading lines are very effective in this image. It gives the photo strength and leads the eye right into the photo. I wish the small blue portion in upper left corner could be cropped out as it is distracting.

Fran, I love this capture of the bird. Certainly a different view of bird in flight. The only thing that disturbs me is the amount of negative space ( I have been challenged before for using that term, but it is a valid term used by judges frequently). I think it is a more effective image if cropped a little bit as shown. Hope you don't mind my editing your photo. |
