47 Apr 26 Comment The sky is masterfully done. Particularly the strong diagonal lines suggested by the clouds and the stars on the left. In my opinion, the building does not work. It is too much with unrelated bright areas, the cross of the walkways and the grass. I would crop out the grass. and perhaps bring down the bright high lights in the building particularly the door in the center of the picture. Try asking yourself, why you took this picture? Re print and edit to emphasize your answer. Apr 16th

The straight lines don't distract, but give some dynamism to the scene. The contrast is pleasing and keeps the viewers' attention on the subjects. 47 Apr 26 Reply Yes., I. could have reduced contrast by bring up some of the shadows. I chose not to reduce contrast, because I am not looking for a realist seascape, but for a dream like (maybe night marish fantasy. Apr 13th
