A neutral density filter probably wouldn''t have helped much. You can fake an HDR by making copies of the picture lightening darks and darkening brights and combining using the HDR function your eding application.
Your composition is great It seems to have a blue cast, but that may be due my screen. The blue cast seems to weaken the green of the foliage |

The car is tack sharp. Theflying didrt cwwertainly shows the speed of the car Cropping the right would suggest the car is about to turn left. |

The sharpness is excellent. There does not appear to be a vertical line. My brain won't fix the perspective problems. |

Great shot. Do you think you need the hind legs? I think cropping it to the right knee would get our attention to the bear's face and forearms. I would lighten the bear's eyes, giving a tad more life to the animal. I don't think darkening the background would work, because the beaar then w old appear be merging to the background. I would try blurring the background and sharpening the bear. |

This picture made me smile. I agree that the left weakens the composition. I think brightening it makes it worse. In my opinion, I thnk cropping out the deep shadow on the left and sharpening slightly the tire on which the lovers are restingimprove this very creative picture. |

I find the wire is distracting. I agree with Jeff's trial edit. I think that if ypu malightedned the light areas it would gvie little excitement to the photo. This is a very interesting and eye satisfying photograph |

I love the idea. Jeff and Ed comments are really good. I would, after you have worked with their sugestions, increase the contrast. I would also crop mdre from the right upper corner. The trunk branching up and the right attracts my eye becase of the"eye" createe by sawing a branch off the barge branch that sweeps this viewers eye out of the picture. Often less is more
