I went back and foth on including the clouds and decided to leave them because I feel that the composition is bvetter with the boats well below the center, and I don't think the clouds are all tht interesting.. Good eye uyou have noticing the wake. |

This is a spectacular. It is a decisive moment,; it appears that the wings are about move down and lift the bird and its prey. Everything that should be sharp is, but the wings look very natural and the gradations of the whites is perfect. The foreground especially on the right front is out of focus; I would crop it |

The image is not flat but is
just right for the scene in myopinion. I like the color version. The play of the lines that point to the subject and the line of the shore that carries my eye to the bunker make the picture really interesting. Perhaps because it emphasizes the person, but links her/him to the building. I also love the uted colors (by the way, the colors have not totally been removed from the(almost) B&W version |

This is very nicely done. I see more pictures in your picture. The right half would be one additional version; the curved and crooked trees give a more dynamic rendering of the scene. Another version would be to crop the right side as well as the left up to the first pair onthe right. |

Your edits improved the photograph. I feel that the drop istoo tight, particularly at the top. It makes the building strong; I think the crop doesn't convey the feeling you describe. You handled the sky very well, and the gloomy clouds helps develop the feelings you wished to express. |
