47 Nov 19 Comment Nicely done, Jen. You have achieved a very moving photograph. One nit pick. There seems to be part of another horse and rider on the left edge. I would cone it out aand give the remaining horse and rider a little room Nov 11th
47 Nov 19 Comment F8 and being there. This is a wonderful photograph. I agree that the distant left is a bit too bright. A subtlevignetting might also add . This shot also could be cropped at the bottom to make a dramatic panoramic. That would not improve the photograph, it would be a differentphotograph. Nov 11th
47 Nov 19 Comment Really nicely done I agree with Jack about the foliage. The foreground I find is a little too busy. If you crop from the lower left so that you crop out the bright foliage on the left that crop would make the foliage non-distracting and eliminate some of the foreground. Nov 11th
47 Nov 19 Comment A most interesting shot. I think the B&W is more evocative.I agree with Jack about the black spot. I see in the color that it is not as solid bleack as in the B&W. The turning step is a bit too dark and you have lost the detail that it is a turning step. If you restore that by lightening it just a bit would give it some of the dimension that Jack suggests in his comment Nov 11th
47 Nov 19 Comment This is a shot that I wish I had taken. This is a wow! The eyes, face and arms are tack sharp. I slight blur of the feet and costume add to the photograph; I don't think they are distracting;, but show the movement and combined with her taught muscles emphasize the athleticism and grace of the dancer. Her expression also adds to the photograph Nov 11th
47 Nov 19 Comment I was there this past Summer and really enjoyed your scene with the snow.I think you nailed the tonality. I would rework the composition. I suggested cropping the bottom and the right side. Then your leading line is more definite and the foreground becomes the river. The detail of the snow on the bushes, in my opinion, is too interesting and detracts from the mountains. I would also crop from the right side to keep the aspect ratio. That would move the mountains more off center and make them more important and would repeat the outline of the the trees on the left. Nov 11th
