25 May 19 Comment I like this door. You did a nice job with the processing. I really like the colors. A friend of mine photographs door knobs. She made a really cool 16x20 print with all the door knobs. When you get down to your final 20, how are you planning to share the images? If you put them on a website, please share as I would like to see them all. May 9th

25 May 19 Comment I noticed the texture right way and really liked it. For fun, I tried a square crop. Since I was dealing with a low res file to start, it's a bit grainy, but you get the idea. You can decide if you like it. May 9th

71 May 19 Comment I actually watched a video last night on composition and it said exactly what Mike was saying. One quarter of the photo is the stairs which is boring compared to everything else in the photo. The other thing he talked about in the video was horizontal lines that become barriers where as diagonal lines help your eyes move through the photo. The bottom few steps that go all the way across the photo are actually barriers. The video was quite interesting. I tried cropping out the bottom steps. It helped, but hopefully you got other shots while you were there. May 9th

71 May 19 Comment I agree with cropping while leaving in the vegetation on the left side. I just found myself constantly shifting my gaze to the left. So I tried a square crop and vignette. You can decide if you like it or not. May 9th

71 May 19 Comment I like the composition of this photo and the nice early morning light on it., but I wasn't sure it was in focus. So, I pulled it into PS and used the Filter - Sharpen - Shake Reduction and it did a great job on this photo. May 9th
