25 Jan 19 Comment My problem is that I don't know what to focus on. I like the colors so I took it into PS and cropped it to focus on the lines created from the different peaks. Jan 24th
25 Jan 19 Comment Love this photo. Other than Audrey's crop (and maybe removing the hot spots), I wouldn't change a thing. Jan 24th
25 Jan 19 Comment Russia is on my bucket list as one of the places. I like the vibrant colors of the night time shot. I think we get too used to thinking photos should not be overly vibrant. What I like best about the daytime shot is that it is not cropped so tightly, but the muted colors don't draw me in like they do in the nighttime shot. Jan 24th
25 Jan 19 Comment I like that you thought to put the bug on paper to highlight the bug without a cluttered background. Nice job. I also like Eric's adjustments. Jan 24th
25 Jan 19 Comment I like this photo. When I say Eric's crop, I liked it a bit more as it does highlight the reflections a little more. Nice job. Jan 24th

71 Jan 19 Reply I like your idea of a long exposure with the water against the rocks. I will have to try that next time. Thanks. Jan 31st
71 Jan 19 Reply I chose the 10 stop filter because it was a bright day. Even a 3 stop filter didn't allow me to lower my shutter speed near enough to create the effect. I have even done a few shots with both my 10 stop and 3 stop stacked to get an exposure that was a couple of minutes (or more) long. The only problem is that I don't have a cable release, so I use the app on my phone and have to keep my finger on on the phone for that long. Not exactly the best way to do this, but it worked. 71 Jan 19 Reply Thank you for your feedback. If I get back to the area, it would be fun to go out shooting together. Jan 31st
71 Jan 19 Reply I definitely like this version better. Jan 26th
71 Jan 19 Comment Nice capture! I like that you took it before the sky went black as it makes a more pleasing photo. Jan 24th
71 Jan 19 Comment Great capture! I like what Nancie did and have nothing to add. Enjoy! Jan 24th
71 Jan 19 Comment That's awesome. Hang it on a wall! Jan 24th
71 Jan 19 Comment I had the same reaction as Mike, wow, this is the best image of the badlands I've seen. I agree with him: Frame it and hang it on a wall. Great job. Jan 24th
71 Jan 19 Comment I have similar photos I have taken and just enjoy them because it is a great memory of how awesome the landscape was. Since the sky really doesn't add anything to the photo, I just cropped most of it out. Enjoy. Jan 24th
71 Jan 19 Comment It looks like there is a person standing on the rock (just to the right where white caps hit the rocks). Since he is hard to see, I would clone him out. I would also clone out the stick growing up on the lower right side. Otherwise, I like this photo. Jan 24th
