My problem is that I don't know what to focus on. I like the colors so I took it into PS and cropped it to focus on the lines created from the different peaks. |

Love this photo. Other than Audrey's crop (and maybe removing the hot spots), I wouldn't change a thing. |

Russia is on my bucket list as one of the places. I like the vibrant colors of the night time shot. I think we get too used to thinking photos should not be overly vibrant. What I like best about the daytime shot is that it is not cropped so tightly, but the muted colors don't draw me in like they do in the nighttime shot. |

I like that you thought to put the bug on paper to highlight the bug without a cluttered background. Nice job. I also like Eric's adjustments. |

I like this photo. When I say Eric's crop, I liked it a bit more as it does highlight the reflections a little more. Nice job. |

I like your idea of a long exposure with the water against the rocks. I will have to try that next time. Thanks. |

I chose the 10 stop filter because it was a bright day. Even a 3 stop filter didn't allow me to lower my shutter speed near enough to create the effect. I have even done a few shots with both my 10 stop and 3 stop stacked to get an exposure that was a couple of minutes (or more) long. The only problem is that I don't have a cable release, so I use the app on my phone and have to keep my finger on on the phone for that long. Not exactly the best way to do this, but it worked. |

Thank you for your feedback. If I get back to the area, it would be fun to go out shooting together. |

Nice capture! I like that you took it before the sky went black as it makes a more pleasing photo. |

I had the same reaction as Mike, wow, this is the best image of the badlands I've seen. I agree with him: Frame it and hang it on a wall. Great job. |

I have similar photos I have taken and just enjoy them because it is a great memory of how awesome the landscape was. Since the sky really doesn't add anything to the photo, I just cropped most of it out. Enjoy. |

It looks like there is a person standing on the rock (just to the right where white caps hit the rocks). Since he is hard to see, I would clone him out. I would also clone out the stick growing up on the lower right side. Otherwise, I like this photo. |
