71 Dec 18 Comment An interesting shot. I've seen something like this only once before. I wouldn't have thought I would like a shot like this, but I do. My only suggestion would be to either darken down or remove the light above the door. It is too bright in an otherwise subdued background. Dec 14th
71 Dec 18 Comment I love this shot. We are headed to the Washington coast next week and I hope to get some great shots like this. If you don't need this to be a journalistic style photo, I would consider cloning out the houses on the right side. I keep looking at them because they are light spots that don't add to the photo. 71 Dec 18 Comment I love the sky. I agree with the previous comments. I had another thought with this photo, keep it marked so that someday, when you have a sky that isn't what you like, you could replace a bad sky with this one in a photo (assuming you are okay with composite pictures). Dec 14th
71 Dec 18 Comment There's no figuring out judging. I entered a photo in one contest in September and it won Best in Show. I entered the same photo in a different contest 2 months later and it got nothing. Having said that, I really like this photo with the drama in the clouds. At the moment, I can't think of anything I would change, so hang it on your wall and enjoy. Dec 14th
