25 Jul 17 Reply Thanks. I can do that. This is one picture I would like to make a big print of, so I definitely will sharpen it more.

If you ever get back, a local person told me the trains run about every half hour. Knowing that helps for getting this photo.

25 Jul 17 Comment I love the colors in this photo. It would be nice if you could have gotten the shot without the other flower in the background, but it's still a nice photo. I do agree with Lona about the center being a bit close to the right edge. Jul 15th
25 Jul 17 Comment I love this! I almost got to Mt St Helen's a few weeks ago, but my husband's work while we were in Portland got in the way. I am still hoping for another trip out there this summer and it is at the top of the to-do list. As far as this photo, I would not change anything.

25 Jul 17 Comment I give you credit for trying this. I have never heard of freezing a flower, but I kind of like what you are doing. If I were you, I'd keep trying it with other flowers just to see what happens. Jul 15th
25 Jul 17 Comment I took the exact same photo without the sun reflection on it. I love the reflection. Nice job. Jul 6th
25 Jul 17 Comment Looks like a fun photo to me! My only suggestion would be to darken down around the edges. I keep looking at the top of the photo trying to figure out what is in the background. Jul 6th

71 Jul 17 Comment I like the idea of this photo. What bothers me is that the top of the pier is at the same height of the horizon. I would suggest trying a different perspective to move the horizon either above or below the pier. Otherwise, I like the way the couple is looking out to the sea.

71 Jul 17 Comment Welcome. I agree with the others that a bit more clarity/contrast on the mountain would be good. Otherwise, I love the composition with the 3 people. Jul 15th
71 Jul 17 Reply Not sure. I may have a chance to get back to Portland in the next couple of weeks. If I do, I am going to try some more options. Jul 14th
71 Jul 17 Comment I will have to defer to someone else on this one. There is nothing I can find wrong with the photo, nor is there anything I can think of to improve it. Please don't be offended, however, it's just not exciting me. I actually find the sage the most interesting part of the photo and would love to see more of that, or maybe some other composition with the sage. Jul 6th
71 Jul 17 Comment I really like all the colors and textures in this scene. For me the only issue was too much sky so I redid the crop. Jul 6th
71 Jul 17 Reply I can appreciate what you are saying. I can't say I disagree. Unfortunately, I have a crop sensor camera and 10 mm (16mm equivalent on a full fame) is as wide as I can go. Jul 6th
