So I went back and looked in LR. On this day, I had 710 photos that I kept. I'm guessing I might have deleted somewhere around 70 photos for being out of focus or totally useless (ie, cut off part of a head or something like that). Of the 710, I posted probably 5 on Facebook. Of those, only this one and one other are my absolute favorites. The other one is on my short list of possible entries for the Iowa State Fair. (It's a pelican with a fish laying in it's beak, but not in a way that I've seen in other pictures like that.) |

I usually do a 10%. Not sure why I didn't here. I'll have to go back and add it. Thanks. |

You know, I didn't notice the shadow of the fish on the bird until you pointed it out. Now I think it's really cool! Thanks. |

If you had not told me you added a snow overlay, I would never have guessed. This is great. How do you add a snow overlay? I am also curious about the line along his back. It looks like a shadow. Any idea what that is? |

I like it. I'm not sure I would change a thing. You don't have the sky in here and I think it's perfect without it. Nice job. |

I wasn't a fan of the barbwire fence or the dead bush near the bottom right. As I looked at it, I realized the best picture for me was the center with a field of purple and green. I can see why you took this picture as I also love seeing these colors. You can decide if you like my crop. Unfortunately, the flowers have blown out highlights on them. Taking the photo just a little later in the day should help with that. |

It's been a while since I have gotten a chance to do night photography. It is on my to do list in the next month or so and now I feel inspired to make sure I do get out to do this. I took your photo into lightroom and first used the Dehaze slider on it. (This slider is awesome with the night sky.) I also added a little bit of clarity, contrast, and adjusted the white balance (little more blue and magenta). I also cropped out the railing along the bottom. There are lots of good youtube videos on processing these photos and I will be rewatching them as soon as I get out to take more of these photos. |

My normal reaction to any flower pictures I take is to hit the delete key when I get home. However, if I actually took a flower picture like this, I would love it. You've given me something to think about the next time I take flower pictures. Nice job with this. |

I was instantly drawn to the net. Love that the sun was captured inside it. This is a great picture! |

I tried twice to attach the picture I had, but it won't post. I'll try again another time.

I love this picture, but thought it looked a little flat. I took it into LR and used the adjustment brush to add clarity and contrast to give it a little more pop. |
