My husband had to go to Germany for work, so I went along. We extended the trip and toured on our own. We had been to Germany back in 1990 just months after the Berlin Wall came down, so we had some thoughts about what we wanted to see. |

I have never been successful using a tripod with wildlife. The few photographers I have seen using one, use a gimbal head. I don't have one of those and it's not in the budget for now. Anyway, I've found to get the sharp photos I want, I need a fast shutter speed, so it compensates for shake too. Generally, I just have to let my ISO go up as the sun goes down. Maybe one day I'll get a gimbal head and use a tripod with wildlife. |

I have a Canon 70D with the articulating screen. The platypod is a stand (with a ball head) I put my camera on and then twisted the screen so I could see the scene using live view. I was then able to line up the shot, set it for bracketing with a 2 sec delay. Once I pushed the button, my camera automatically takes all three shots. |

I love the layers in this sunset. I wish I could get more sunset photos like this. Nice job. |

Today, our photo club had a speaker who specializes in black and white photography. I love your photo in color, but I wanted to see what it would look like as a black and white. I like it both ways, but you can decide if you like the black and white. |

Overall, you have done a nice job with the photo you have. I would think getting a properly exposed photo of chrome on a sunny day can't be easy, but this looks great. I guess my only comment is that I am used to photos of this nature being symmetrical with a straight on view. |

I agree, nice detail in the male duck. One of the things I learned is that with people or wildlife, you should leave room for them to look into the frame. Here, the duck's beak is a bit too close to the right edge leaving him looking out of the frame. I love photographing wildlife, but is a lot harder than it seems.

Nice picture. I agree with Audrey that the out of focus tree on the right is distracting. I also did not like the dead leaves along the top. I cropped in. I don't think that losing a little of the lemur is a problem, but you can decide. |

This is the actual picture. I did not crop this. I did take other pictures as this was a gorgeous church and hard to show the magnificence of it in one photo. I took one from the view of he altar sitting in the pew but I felt it was to similar to what everyone sees. Although this photo has a bit of the ceiling, you miss how awesome that was. Looking up is one of my other shots. |

This is such a unique photo that I wouldn't want to change anything. I think the highlights in the water are great giving it a real feel of rushing water. |

At first I wasn't sure I liked the "dappled" light along the road because it made it hard to see the people. However, looking at the suggestions to lighted the road through the center, I can envision that making this photo great. Hope you give that a try. |

Outside of the blue in the water, I love this shot with all the colors. I would try to make the hike to get a shot like this. |
