Hi Vince. Welcome to the group. I look forward to learning with you! So you didn't list your blog website in your bio. I was curious what it was.
There is a lot to love about your photo. The colors are great. The post processing is well done. My only comment was that unfortunately you were standing under a tree that had lost all its leaves. It makes for a lot of bare branches in the top half of your photo. A few steps forward and you probably would have eliminated the problem. |

I love this photo. Nice post processing. I had to look at this photo a couple of times before I was able to figure out what was bothering me about it.... The horizon line is just slightly off. I took it into PS to be sure. It's just slight, but enough for my brain to complain. |

I was at Bryce in March last year. I missed this too. It's an interesting composition and on the plus side it has me thinking (which I guess is that goal of every photographer). On the minus side, it has me also thinking that you are at a beautiful location and yet more than half the frame is taken up with tree roots/sand. Yet, I can't say I hate it or anything like that. I think I'm with Audrey on this one in wondering if there was another presentation that might have worked better. |

Nice job with this. I wouldn't change anything you did. It's interesting to see a German typewriter layout and I hope you win! |

The green background is an interesting choice. I kind of like it. Do you want me to send another photo for you to post? |

I agree, sometimes it is fun to play around in PS and LR to see what you can discover. I also like to play around with the different filters in Nik. I have the free ON1 filters which I have tried out a couple of times. |

Sometimes happy accidents happen. I was positioning myself to get the starburst, but having the ray hit the ground like that was something I discovered when I went through the photos later. |

I enjoy this shot. The current crop doesn't bother me. The road and sidewalk lead me into the picture. I would be more likely to clone out the signs though. |

Nice job! I love the look of it and wouldn't change a thing.
I also use Nik, but I've noticed I can't get to it from LR anymore. I have to access it from PS. I was wondering if you had noticed that or if I have a setting I need to change. (I have LR and PS CC). |

I love the cold feel this photo gives. My suggestion would be to clone out the trash can and sign (up and to the right of the trash can). I decided to import into PS and did some other clean up work on it including removing the two partial trees on each side. It could use a crop, but decided to leave that to you on what you think it should be. |

Nice choice going with the black and white. Great composition with the curved lines and the person gives it a sense of scale. |

I was going back and forth between your original post and Deb's redo. I like both for different reasons. I like the softer look of your original post. I like the black and white of Deb's post. So either way, I think it is a win-win for this picture. Nice job. |
