I prefer the colour version and I like the crop that Linda suggested. In Lightroom I dragged a graduated filter from top to bottom, then selected the Range Mask to Colour. I sampled some of the bright green with the ey dropper tool then lowered the highlights. |

I like the composition as it is. I think you need to show the doors so that we know what they are. The smiles are great and you have them both looking directly at the lens |

I like the angle as it shows the detail and colours of the feathers. The crown not showing, for me, is a bonus, as it shows a 'normal' male bird. |

You have caught a really good moment in his life. The expression could be read a number of ways to tell different stories. The cloning is noticeable, but only after looking into those wonderful eyes! |
