Oh the ex-military in me wants to make a comment - probably not suitable as the Group is open to anyone to view! Shame though. To me the white spots look like feathers. Brilliant technique whether on or off tripod as this is an incredibly sharp image given the crop - maybe send it to Tamron and see what they say! |

I like the image as it is. The leaves form a triangle that eventually leads up to the butterfly. The patterns work well together and I could see this printed as big as it will go, framed and on the wall. |

I agree with the idea of cropping out the gate, for me it's the wrong color and texture and too new. I prefer Lane's crop as it leaves the sky and a little bit of the gate post for interest, otherwise it's a well spotted and composed image. |

I agree with cropping a little from the bottom. I like the tones and the warmth of this image. I looked at a mono conversion in LR and it seemed to be too cold for my liking, so, apart from the crop, I wouldn't change anything. |

I'm with Harley on this. The whole image works really well for me. I have seen some skies this color/tone and, looking at the warmth of the foreground, it doesn't look out of place.
