I agree with you Mark, that was my thoughts as I framed the image in camera! |

I used to teach meteorology to air traffic controllers and I was always looking for an image like this. There is so much happening in the clouds from virga, microbursts, all those different cloud type - heaven for me and a nightmare for my students!
I like the building on the right as it helps to add scale and distance to the composition. Incredible capture and really good post processing. |

Love the capture and the sharpness. The colors are really accurate and complement each other. I'm wondering if the spot healing brush in PS would reduce the impact of the line on the upper left? |

I like the crop and the processing as it adds more life to the story, and, for me, it's much better without the shadow. |

This is a well thought out image. I like the way you have captured the rocket, the burst and the sparks drifting back to earth. |

I really like the symmetry of the image. I love the dark, mystery novel feel to it. One piece of advice that I was given was to always take a portrait orientation image and leave space at the top - just in case it could be used for a book cover - this ticks all the boxes and is worth sending off to see what happens. |

I agree with th comments above. The crop/composition works so well with the subject. I prefer the sepia toned image as, for me, it's gives a softer feel yet retains all that detail. |

I have found a work-around with the stacking software and Original 2 is the result. My question is this, just because I can now stack photos and create a sharp image - does it enhance the subject or not? Which do you prefer - the main image or original 2? |
