How many people walk past this every day and don't see this. For me, the shadow on the bush helps to knock it back and makes me focus on the shadows and patterns. The shadows on the signage have the same effect, it's there, but it's not as important as the overall effect. |

Wonderful, a really bright, sharp image in challenging conditions. The crop and the processing have brought out all the detail. |

I like the angle and the action. Including the yellow buoy, for me, helps the composition as it makes me go back into the image.
I'm wondering if you need all the water at the bottom of the image. The slight panoramic crop would make it appear as if the boats were sailing at you more. |

I also love this image. My eyes go straight to the sunlight grass, helped by the lead-in lines, and the clouds are wonderful. |

I like the old, rustic feel to this composition. The cooler colours work really well and the lines lead me nicely around the image. My only suggestion may be to crop a little off the left side, to just include the 2nd post. This, for me, would give an even stronger image. |

I agree with Mark. It looks like there is a slight movement in the stem and that could be enough to change the focus from the front to the back. I like the composition and the muted background colours. |
