If I cloned out the black bar I would be lynched by the locals - it's their new bridge, one of the larger bridges in South America, and they are so proud even the taxi drivers ask if you would like to detour from the airport to the city so you can cross over it! I also like it as it joins the trees and acts as a frame along the bottom. |

Hi Mark,
The lines between needing and not needing a model release have been blurred for years. The PSA have adopted their policy and, unless this was taken in a public place, it would need a model release to be made available if required. There are a lot of competitions/salons going the same way as well. |

This guy is smug and safe in the knowledge that no one is going to bother him - just look at the size of the adult's tail! Wonderful detail and I like the crop/composition - it fills the frame yet also leave some context. |

I like this image because it makes me think - moonlight, IR, direct shot into sun? The shape, shadows and textures really work together and I would count this as a success. |

There has been a lot of discussion between the directors and the admins about the change of policy and the need for model releases - I flagged this image as a good example of, maybe, not asking him to sign a legal looking document!! I really like the pose and the crop., and I agree with Harley that face right and eyes left balance the image, it also adds to the tension and cranky mood - wonderful expression well caught. |

Well worth printing big. What I like the most is your processing - it complements the feeling and emotion of the subject yet doesn't become the subject itself. |

Welcome to the group. I like the sharp focus and the angle of the bird. For me, you have cropped it just right to allow space for the gull to fly into. The advantage of being able to shoot at 100 ISO really shows well here with no noise apparent in the sky. |
