Kathy, great portrait of this hard working man! The
background is very interesting also, with the writings on the
wall! Re: the sunspots, I would clone them out as they don't add to the portrait or the background, but are distracting.

Wanda, Sorry about the loss of your brother!
I like #2, as the shadow is deeper. The stick, itself, could be darkened with a dodge and burn layer. If you use PS, contact me..I'll send you a how-to on doing this layer. |

Steve, what draws my eyes to the photo, is the contrast of the old crushed car and the wildflowers in the foreground.
