Excellent color conversion, Henry. Your removal of the power lines was excellent with no residual artifacts. I agree that the sky could be improved. Did you consider a sky replacement with one of your own skies?

Thanks, Christian. Doesn't that eliminate some sense of place and crowd the top too much?

Thanks, Jim. Yes, that is a tricky contrast adjustment for me to get correct. I always experiment and go with what I think works best.
(BTW, what file size do you suggest submitting?)

Thanks, Peter. It is easier to appreciate it looking down from above, than looking up from the base, but awe inspiring either way.

Jim, I laud your technical mastery of moving the container, but find it out of keeping with the architectural purity of the image. I have seen other 'containers' like this for cigarette butts, and in my opinion, knowing that takes away from your excellent mono conversion and mastery of texture. The container does create an item of interest and balance, but I wish it was something else.

Excellent capture, Christian. The drama created by the sky and water compliment the reflection and horse/rider. I agree that the softness of the original creats a mood that is difficult to translate in the mono version.
Super image!

Like you, I also like the color version, Michael.
Since my background is more in the nature division, I forget that I can remove the limb in PID as Jim suggested. It certainly improves the composition. If you decided to leave that limb in, I would suggest a little more breathing room on the top border and cropping could improve the undesirable material on the right side. You have a good start for an excellent image. I am a fan of the Topaz AI line and use Dehaze and Sharpen on all of my work.

Very good capture, Peter. The 'color' image was almost mono, but you improved it in the mono version. I was concerned with the over exposed highlights in the color version, but you toned them down well. Good crop to maximize the subject and minimize the extraneous material. Good job!

I like your creative touch, Darlene. While I am not a fan of painterly techniques on my images, you pull it off well here. Your burning and dodging efforts really highlights the subject of the image. Well done!
