I like the final image with the darker skies and distinctive clouds, along with the brightened rails and ballast that create leading lines through the locomotive to the background. I am not sure whether that was all the preset or you did additional burn and dodge, but the final effect is very pleasing.
Good job, Henry!

You captured great leading lines which draws the viewer's eye to your subject, Jim. Also, great structure, white balance and contrast in the capture. I like the improved crop of the foreground.
Good job, Jim.

Wonderful symmetry and detail, all at an unusual angle. It is an excellent B&W subject that you captured exactly correctly, Peter.
My only negative comment is that it was impossible to capture the best part of the color image, the yellow lighted window on the left border near the bottom. To me that is "the decisive moment", as defined by Henri Cartier-Bresson (except here, it is stationary) of the image, and really can't easily be conveyed in gray scale B&W. Just a thought that ran through my mind when I saw the color version.
Good job, Peter!
