Great study in shape and texture, Henry.
Being a nature photographer, I find both the color and mono versions attractive. I agree that Jim's version of the image is an improvement, however I am surprised that no one mentioned removing the 'black dot' on the leaf 11 o'clock from the blossom. In nature photography we can't remove things, but in PID you can and often remark on it. Just a suggestion to clean up the image.

Excellent image, Jim.
Eliminating the rightness of the background appropriately puts the emphasis on the subject, however, to me, the background appears hazy or lacking contrast, which seems different than the treatment of the subject.
Overall, an excellent image!

Good image and translation into monochrome.
I like the sepia tone and the darker sky. To me, the vastness of the sky is part of the story of a small boy against the ocean. I am fine with the darker sky, but suggest darkening the reflection 1/4 stop to emphasize it more.
Good image!

Peter. excellent abstract! You have quite the eye in finding them. Jim's version is sharper and more attractive.
The Topaz De Noise AI and Sharpen AI products are outstanding and now have been replaced with a single Photo AI product. I still like the two individual products, but the results are similar and the Photo AI also allows upscaling the image.
