Great image, Henry! I like your version w/o sun-streaks as it has more visual road continuity leading the viewer into and around the curve. We have visited there several times and find it mystical in the fall.

This would be a good use of your old body when you upgraded to the R5. The conversion is only about $350-450 and gives a new life to an old camera that would not be used much. I find the 720nm filter gives me best B&W effect, but other nm filters can give false color images (not my thing).

It is a good use for the 'old' body when upgrading to a 'new' one. (Can also be an excuse for upgrading ;-) ) The only suggestion is view all of different nm filter effects before deciding and to keep a dedicated calibrated lens on it as IR focused differently than visible.

A well executed image, Jim. Very well composed and exposed that expresses the emotions of 'Reflecting'. Thanks for your detailed explanation of the steps in its creation.
Well done!

All of the great suggested variations make this a difficult image to evaluate. By including the stunning sunburst, it is the main subject and Jim's cropping is my choice. If the sunburst was not present/prominent, then I prefer the original sharpness and detailed rock face of Michael's version, as the story is about the rugged landscape.
Michael, you gave us a multi-faceted image with many points of interest, allowing each viewer to follow their own direction, as a good photographer hopes to do. Well done!

A very nice artistic nature shot with minimalist lines, Peter. I like the sharpness and detail that you captured.
A great image!

A great "save" and improvement from the original. I like your creative crop which is more impressive and focuses the viewer's interest better. I really like the final image (with the dodged trunks) and now feel the need to revisit old images to obtain similar results!
Well done!!

Great suggestion, Henry! A good solution to recover a fallen image, (. . . but doesn't quite meet the nature guidelines ;-) ). I will try that in a non-nature venue. Thanks!

Thanks for the comments, Lance. Yes, I should have used a tripod or faster shutter speed to get a perfectly sharp image. Lessons learned.
