Nice still life image, Henry. You created an intimate landscape that tells a story. Great detail and clarity in Michael's cleanup. Well done!

Jim, you captured a very detailed graphic. Good work on correcting for the visual distortion that ruined the graphic quality of the image. I can appreciate your efforts and results.

I agree with Henry's tighter crop and getting rid of the foreground.

Thanks for the critique, Henry. All valid points. I was trying to camouflage the fruit to make it less distracting to the viewer (Hoping that they wouldn't see it!).

An excellent capture, Peter. I like the high key treatment that emphasizes the minimalist aspect of the image. Going monochrome removes the complexity of color and further simplifies the image.

Sorry that you both lost a part of the family. Not an easy process to recover from.
I like the simplicity and detail of the B&W version. Lilly's fur stands out more without the color and the background is simpler without the color. As an outsider, I agree that cleaning the foreground would improve the image, however there may be a story/memory associated with the debris that you are trying to preserve. A very nice memory that you captured which will have a place of prominence.
