11 Jul 22 Comment Good capture, Henry. I like the detail that you achieved on the blossom, however since you eliminated much of the surrounding environment already, I like Jim's tighter crop as it focuses the viewer's eye more.

As a realist, I prefer the 'straitening' of your improved version over the original, however, Henry's increased contrast is more to my taste (the mid-tones look washed out in your version, but it depends on the viewer.) Good image.

11 Jul 22 Comment An interesting subject, Allen, with lots of detail to catch the eye. I agree with Henry's treatment of the background, but it still needs the sharpening that Jim performed. I prefer your original orientation.
