Thanks, Allen. I really like your suggested crop. You are correct about the featureless sky. Originally I was trying to bring out the details in the sky and settled for a gradient. Your crop resolved the problem very well. Thanks.

Great image, Henry.
I like the openness of the scene vs a people-clogged alley, but 1 or 2 people would have added to the interest and scale.
I first thought that the graffiti was a distraction, then considered the blankness of it being a bare wall, and finally ended up liking the graffiti there as a statement of the times.
Your patience was rewarded with a great image for your memory collection.

Thanks, Henry.
You have excellent eyes! In the rush to get it submitted while on the road, I couldn't run it through my normal Aurora HDR, Topaz DeNoise AI, and Topaz Sharpen AI. I am sure that it could be better. Again, thanks for being honest with your review, it keeps me on my toes and tells me not to take shortcuts.

Excellent capture and processing, Jim. As others have commented, the shutter speed for the water is exactly correct. As a nature photographer, I would have tried to capture the same scene but positioned myself to avoid the people and footbridge. Overall a great image.

Add my agreement with Jim's suggested improvement. I personally like the darker skies and Jim captured it well.

You captured the subject and converted it to B&W well, Allen, but I think Henry's comments are the same as mine, except I would add a slightly heavier vignette and maybe a graduated filter coming in from the upper right to emphasize the subject.
