Excellent mono capture, Henry. Losing the detail in the background really showcases the tulip blossom. The enhanced water droplets emphasizes the smooth lines and gentle shading of the flower. Thanks for sharing.

I like your second version best, Jim. While the shadows are interesting and great, placing the image in the context of where you were by showing adjacent mausoleums is more important. Flipping the image made a stronger composition for me. Good job!

Great image, Sharron! Their expressions are the story! I like your original crop as it shows the continuation of the slide and what the children are seeing in front of them.. (With the tighter crop, you lose the sensation of the slide.)
While the yellow color translates to 'too light' in mono, I find it better than super dark in Tom's suggested correction which eliminates the color differentiation among the three lanes.
Good job in showing the emotions!

Very strong graphical capture, Victor. I like the geometric shapes, but think that Jim Hagan's version captures my esthetic more than the other versions (but could be a little darker on the left wall). Good job.

I like the variety of the high key presentation. Great composition with the background and off center subject. I agree with the dodging of the butterfly to see more detail. While I noticed the bright flower, I didn't consider it that much of a distraction, in a way I like the contrast with the dark butterfly. A fun image.
