Easy to see why you enjoy the image, Sharon. With all of the excellent suggestions I am left with only the task of applauding you all. The transformation of this image from original to final is outstanding and resulted in a work of art.

Excellent image, Tom. The sharpness, details, shadows combine to make a wonderful image. At first I thought you must be focus stacking, but from your description, it appear to be only HDR at f/22 to achieve the great depth of field. Another 'Tom triumph'.

Beautiful image, Lisa. It cries out for the increased contrast and clarity which Allen addressed in his comments. I think your shutter speed was appropriate to achieve the desired silky water effect. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely framed scene within a scene as your eye is drawn into the image, Allen. The details and contrast are perfect and the exposure correct. I didn't even see the power lines on my laptop. I think I would go with the blue to add an original touch to the image.

I think you are probably correct, Allen. I was looking for a scene that would show the contrast between the sky and the steam.

Thanks for your insight, Lisa. I really didn't think about it as I was concentrating on the sky and steam. I will try that when I have time to modify it.
