Sorry, Maria. While your image is good, I am not the right person to ask. I am better with fur than human skin. I will enjoy your image and learn from the masters.

I think you missed an opportunity to really freak out your audience by not making it over-the-top sharp and 'hairy'. I increased the overall sharpness, contrast and balanced the B&W sliders, adding a slight vignette.
(Oops! I screwed up and over wrote my original comments when I answered Tom's comments. Anyway, I don't know how to correct it so Tom and I will know what happened, the rest of you will have to make do with this! ;-) )

Definitely a striking composition with full tonal range. The dramatic lines direct the viewer to the high contrast buildings and I don't mind the lack of detail there. The ominous clouds add to the feeling of an impending storm. I like the great detail throughout, especially on the foreground driftwood. Great image.

As a fellow flight enthusiast, I definitely like the subject matter and composition. I find the B&W adds contrast and definition to the image over the color. I would prefer to keep the pilots in the photo as they present a sense of scale. To me the runway in the foreground is distracting and could be cropped out resulting in a more panoramic image the emphasizes the drama of the planes. Overall a great image.
